ASME Coded Vessel Fabrication
KJ’s Services, Inc. holds ASME “U”, “S”, and “PP” stamps, covering the fabrication and assembly of high pressure boilers, heating boilers, pressure vessels and power piping. We also have the National Board “R” Stamp, allowing the repair and alteration of all boilers and pressure vessels.
About this Process
All ASME manufacturers and National Board stamp holders have an Authorized Inspector (AI), who is the authority of code acceptability. The AI is an employee of a licensed insurance company and has jurisdiction over all code phases of manufacture, repair and alteration.
- Certification of each welder.
- Documentation of material and acceptance by AMSE Inspector and our Quality Control Manager.
- Fabrication accepted by the ASME inspector bears the appropriate stamped symbol.
Certification and Compliance
Being Certified and Accredited through The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, we fabricate by the standards and specifications of ASME .
Our work and our dedicated Independant NDE vendor is governed by the standards and specifications of The American Society for Nondestructive Testing.
We’ve established a policy of participation in programs through API. Our personnel stay current with certifications as API-510 Pressure Vessel Inspector and API-570 Piping Inspector.
Key personnel have certifications through the American Welding Society as AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI). Our inspectors maintain this certification through continuing education.
